The 27th China Beijing International High-Tech Expo (CHITEC) will be held from May 8 to 11 at the China National Convention Center. What highlights can be expected from this edition? Let's find out!

This edition features an exhibition, trade and investment promotional sessions, and an online exhibition.

The exhibition will comprise six thematic areas: information technologies, intelligent manufacturing, health and medicine, green and "dual carbon", digital economy, and regional innovation. Over 800 enterprises and institutions in China and other countries will participate in the exhibition.

Exhibits worth watching: UBTECH Robotics will present the humanoid robot "Walker S", which possesses advanced intent understanding and fine-grained task planning capabilities. Longwood Valley MedTech will bring the world's first orthopedic surgical robot equipped with its self-developed AI large-scale model. Beijing Xinzhi Ruisheng Technology Co., Ltd. will display its smart artificial larynx, a wearable device to assist stroke and ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) patients and help chronic laryngitis patients improve their voice quality. Visitors will also get to know a variety of practical technological applications, including smart bionic hands, Qingling M3 smart bionic legs, Easleep brain-machine sleep aid devices, and AI-powered smart desks that enable full-scene display and interaction of knowledge content.

The trade and investment promotional sessions will include the Beijing International Investment and Trade Conference 2025, the promotional sessions for trade and investment for the collaborative development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the 2025 Beijing International Commercial Law Event, the Future Industry Promotion Series, and the "Beijing Product" promotion and exchange for the distinctive products by specialized, high-end and innovation-driven enterprises, among others. The online exhibition will be hosted on CHITEC's official website, providing a digital platform to present the technological achievements and latest products of the participating enterprises.
